    Hello,
I have been facing problems with my wrist when playing tennis for some time now. It hurts especially with the forehand topspin and forehand volley. As what I was able to find out from the web, this could be wrist tendonitis. It hurts in the area that is in red circle:

Any suggestions if this could be it?
What to do with my wrist now etc. I can play but it hurts.

Should I do any exercises or not? Thanx. I did a rentgen but nothing is wrong with the bones.

Three months ago I had a mild new wrist pain in the general area that you described and started this thread.

Reply #11 especially has some relevant references. It sounds as if this wrist issue still needs more research.

I backed off practicing my interpretation of what the 'current forehand' should be as far as motions that might stress the wrist. The wrist is OK now but I'm going to learn more about the proper stroke pattern and be cautious before practicing new forehand or serving motions.

check your forehand wrist form to prevent excessive pronation or supination. I previously played varieties on forehand topspin to which I hurt my wrist badly.........
