    It's here!

Remember when Wozniacki made the final of a serious tournament and Sugarpova won something that mattered?
That was only a year ago. I know.

The draw is out, so fill your boots:

Looks to me like Vicky ended up with a cake draw. All of the 2014 form players appear to be in the top half of the draw (Cibulkova, Kerbs, Muguruza, Ana, Coco Vandeweghe (I kid)).

Looking forward to a potential Vicky/Halep semi-final and to see if The Woz can navigate the field of nobodies before getting obliterated by JJ.

Li Na has got a host of 'ovas to deal with whereas the chief 'ova has a melting pot of the rest.

Yes, it's like The Tournament of Champions. They should take it one step further and make it like in kindergarten where everyone gets a trophy.

Just kidding of course. It's fun for me, too, because it's way less stressful.

Is this Li's first time as a top seed at a big tournament like this?

Must be, given this is her highest ranking. I don't think she'll win it.

I don't see Vika in the draw. That's disappointing. Is she still iinjured? Edit: never mind, she's on page 2....duh.

I like Sloane's chances in the first round. She plays Bye. Bye never wins. I don't know why she and all her relatives keep showing up at every tournament.

Halep: bye, Nara, Safarova, Bouchard, Azarenka (QF), Radwanska, Li Na

Not easy at all, but preferable to being together with Li Na or Sharapova

As bad as she's been, it disgusts me that Kvitova is not on the poll.

I picked someone else. My first thought was Vika, but she's not been playing well. Sharapova and Aga haven't been up to their best lately either. Li I almost picked, but I dunno....I just looked at the list and felt like it will be an outsider. Or possibly one of the lower ranked top 10s. Just my highly fallible intuition (but my intuition also predicted Li for AO, so I'm not going to ignore it this time).

Yeah I'm not sure what I was thinking. Take Woz and Errani out and replace with Ana and Dominika. Oops, still no room for Petra :)

I care! Yay Taylor! Knapp did look pretty bad, though, especially compared to her AO performance. I only saw the parts TTC was showing...

Yea I am not sure if Townsend was that good or Knapp was that bad. But Knapp just collapsed . I think she might have been sick.

I'm nowhere near the court (on the other side of the country, AMOF - a friend is there), and I was rooting for Taylor ... but I saw that scoreline and figured something must have happened.

Looks like they got the upset. I would think they would be an awesome team or an awful team, depending on which versions of themselves show up.

Boom! 5-2 Giorgi in the third set. This qualifier might just make it!

That is, if she doesn't give up any more free games.. 5-3, Pet to serve.
