    WTA Women's Rankings (Updated Monday, February 26th 2007) :

Just 1 change in the Top 10, Anna Chakvetadze down 1 place to #.11 and Jelena Jankovic back to #.10.

The most interesting progression is of course Venus Williams shooting up 16 places to #.38 after her very convincing win 61 61 over top seeded Shahar Peer in the Memphis, TN. Tier III, another performance worth noting is Meilen Tu, who jumps +14 to #.56, after loosing to Shahar in the semi-final.

Roberta Vinci, with a difficult (and lucky) win, 67(4) 64 03 (retired) in the Copa Colsanitas, Tier III over Tatiana Garbin is now #.43 up 21 places.

Just a word of personal satisfaction to Alicia Molik, up another 16 places to #.74, still progressing every week. :p

A big slide backwards for Linsay Davenport : -13 to #.50.

So, here are the CoreTennis WTA Rankings, a unique feature is the DELTA index showing the UPS and DOWNS makes the variation in rankings much easier to follow from one week to the next.

These WTA Rankings are presented in a CoreTennis page which gives direct access to the each player's file in the CT Database.

Here are the 3 features in this week's WTA Rankings :

    > WTA - Top 100

    > WTA - Biggest Progression

    > WTA - Biggest Drop
