GREAT news. Now Babolat just needs to make VS TEAM 17 in 200 meter/660 feet reels and I'm all set :D

    /JK of course ;)

An X-One 17 reel could be the next thing I order from TW......

Correct me if I am mistaken but this has been on the site for some time. I think this is the best multi-filament string.

Now if they only offer it at a substantial discount compared to buying them in sets and offer up a 18 gauge version.

and if my math is correct you don't get a break for buying reels like you seem to with nrg2.

Yeah I did the math a while back and the reels are a few cents more than the individual sets. They dont have 18g (1.18mm) in the reel. I guess thats a good thing tho, I use it for tourny play.....If I had a reel.....I might go through it faster!

I hit with 16, 17, and 18 gauge and fine 18 gauge plays the best but of course lasts the shortest amount of time.

It's strange why they don't offer a discount for buying an entire reel when it costs they less in packaging material.

Totally not worth buying a reel unless you want convenience of not having to keep all those packages.

How is X-One stringing wise, is it pretty similar to most multi to string with? I am looking for a good multi that is easy to string, I have heard that the X-One has low durability so it requires consistent restringing.

about 17 if you use 38' per stringing job.

you could get 18 if you use 36' per stringing job.... but I think that is pushing it a bit...

the price is a joke. I was hoping for something in the $200 neighborhood.

If you like the 18g, the squash string reel can be had for 10% less than that.

    Same string I'm told.
