Looking at getting either the XBox with Kinect or PS3 with Move (probably leaning towards the XBox right now...you should have seen my 4 year old son playing Kinect Sports tennis and Puss in Boots).

What is the best tennis game on either (or each) system?

For PS3 it is Top Spin 4 (if it's for you, otherwise Virtua Tennis 4 for a more arcadey tennis, which may be better suited for a 4 year old). I don't own a 360.

XBox 360, Topspin 4. As of now no other game really compares. I liked TS2, but 4 is just better. I never played TS3 on the XBox, so no comment on that.

I must disagree, TS4 is horrible! Best of the most recent tennis games is Top Spin 3 for the PS3. But, don't expect much online play...

If I were buying a system today, I would get the Xbox w/ Kinect. There's so much potential there...

I've got a Kinect, and it's awesome. No controller, which is great, and the games are getting really cool. You do need a lot of space to play, so keep that in mind if you've got a tight living room.

TS4 is alright, I liked TS3 a bit better I think, but I'm hoping that Grand Slam 2 from EA is the answer for me. I'm waiting for a deep career mode and more realistic gameplay...Here's hoping.

TopSpin 4. Its far from great but its the best of what's out there right now.

Not for realism, maybe for commentary and graphics.
