Price :). X1 is the crispest string of the three followed by Xcel Power and then Xcel Premium. Xcel Power lasts a few hours longer for me than X1 and Xcel Premium but X1 has more power than the other two strings.

I currently have 2 frames strung with Xcel Power and X1--both in 16g at 56# Weather is too nasty to play today, so it will unfortunately be a few days before I can get out and test em side by side on the court. I did have some very limited/light hitting the other night (amounted to basically 3.0 mixed dubs and drinking) so hard to tell anything. Xcel Pwr is def crisper than reg Xcel Premium, but not quite as stiff/tight as X1s first hit. Will keep ya posted.

For me X-1 breaks way easier than Xcel power. I like both strings , but I usually break X-1 in less than 1 hours.

Xcel Premium is very comfortable. X-1 has a controlled power for a little while and then the control seems to go.

So is there a recommended multi string with more playing time of "controlled power "?:)

It would be whichever one has the best tension retention.

Weiscannon Explosiv is supposed to be great in that respect.

I think X-1 is more powerful but Xcel power has more control with more dwell time.

^ Fedace, do you prefer X1 over other multis like NRG and XCel?
