    My son recently found one of these and was wondering if anyone could help me in determining its value. It appears to be in very good shape and has what appears to be the original cover. I do believe it has been restrung. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    I've seen people asking about $200 for them, but I don't know that they've sold at that price.

    I'd love to pick one up myself, but my threshold is about $85 for one in really nice shape - I may be waiting a while since you don't see them com up very often and they are beautiful rackets...

    ..I found a new, sealed one from an european seller, I was asked 200 eu for it;
    (I think it was one of the best looking open throat wooden frames, back then)

    I suspect some of the Yamaha guitar department design staff filled in for the tennis racquet department design staff during holiday season. :)

    I've had the privilage to have owned several of them in the past.
    They are highly sought after and will sell between U$150 and U$250 depending on condition and grip size.

    I'd not hit with it. It looks too nice to get damaged. I'd have to put this racquet up on a wall. Very nice looking. It does look like a guitar.
