I just played my first tournament over the week-end and today. And I won!!!! I'm so happy it's incredible...the final was absolutly amazing it was a 3 setter. My opponent won the first 7-5, then I came back winning the second set 6-2, then the big third and final set. I was down 1-4 in the third but stayed tough and focused for every point, taking each game at a time. Then I made the comeback, I was up 5-4...then it was 5-5...and then I took it from there winning the third 7-5...So I won my first tournament (elite/4.0 level,14-16) 5-7 6-2 7-5 in the final which lasted 2h30 hours. I'm so happy...I just had to share it. (Btw, there were 4 rounds in the tourney)

Congrats, very impressive. Close matches like that are a lot of fun when neither player quits and they both keep trying their best. I have had a lot of close matches like that and don't always come up the winner but it is a lot of fun to do the best you can.

Don't forget the words of Rudyard Kipling's, IF,

"If you can meet with triumph and disaster and treat those two imposters just the same"

I am not surprised as Federer almost never loses in the Finals of a Tournament.

But all joking aside, congratulations Mr.Federer! Thanks for sharing and I wish you continued success.

Also, feel free to post any details of the event and your matches, as time permitting, I'd be interested in reading all about it.

    Once again... CONGRATULATIONS!

Thanks guys, the funny thing is that in the first round I was kinda nervous and was close to losing the match! We played a PRO 8 match in the first and I was down 5-6 but came out winning 8-6...that was close.
