If anyone would post something that said anything new from Yonex was like the Yonex 305....I would buy 3-4 pairs...Had a pair of 304 something for a bit but wore out pretty quick...was just close....Nothing has ever been close to the 305 since.....I know I have 306,307 sitting on a shelf I will put up for sale one day....wore a few times....It was never the same : ( .........on the last new pair of 305's maybe I will take up bowling after this! hahahaha

Actually, I'm selling one on e babe got it with 1/2 case of Tennis Balls , PrinceGrip Plus ect part of a Gift,,I dont use it thus,,selling it, its for the pocketless players--females so they dont stretch there two piece outfit, cost of outfits isnt cheap, its a clip on, holds the extra tennis ball when serving.

    Cheers

That is pretty big difference in weight. so I really do like to know who is correct. I can definitely feel the difference between those two weights

Probably neither one using certified weights and taking into account air buoyancy factor, ect..

The video with Stan is nothing new. Yonex has had a similar one on their web site for many years.

And yes I believe it is real. One of the many reasons I have been wearing Yonex for more than a decade.

Read the title and the date when it was posted. They're trying the Power Cushion material; not the shoe.

I am thinking about trying this with my shoes. that is more REAL. I am going to strip off the top part of the shoe and use only the bottom part without the insole.
I might have hard time hitting the shoe from 5 stories up but will try anyway............

after wearing for little while now, do you really feel the difference in weight ? Does it really feel that much slower than the previous SHT 308's ? some of the TW testers felt like this new model did feel heavy. Just wondering some of the die hard Yonex shoes fans are feeling ?

Well when all is said and done the new 254 power cushion are just as good as the 308s. One of the reason why I like the 254s is the fact that they aren't as wide as the 308s, with me not having wide feet they fit a bit better than the 308s. As far as weight goes me personally I can hardly notice the difference, when I play it isn't like I notice the weight or anything. I dunno some people say that the weight is notacable me personally I didn't really notice anything. So all u yonex nuts out there who are debating whether to get them or not. I would say they are great shoes no worse then the 308s, I wouldn't hold back because of the supposed weight difference.

what do you think about the weight compared to model right before SHT 308 ? I think it was 307's. that shoes also weight little more like 14.8 oz. and I personally thought that shoe felt little too heavy. but I am hoping this New model isn't like that one. thanks

I never owned a pair I'd the old 307s so I wouldn't be able to give you opinion on that. I don't think the weight especially and your size should make much difference.

only problem is that I have to put in this Orthotic that weighs a lot. it is Custom from the ortho doctor. so I end up adding weight. so I need the lightest shoes possible.

WOW, I never heard such great reviews about these new Yonex shoes.

Comments: My regular size was fine for this shoe. It is unusual that I praise a pair of tennis shoes. Past shoes I have worn have been the adidas Barricade 8, Asics Gel Resolution 5, Nike Ballistics 4.3, Nike Vapor 9. I found them all to be slightly flawed. The Barricade has the toe crashing in the toe box and is excessively roomy. Gel Resolution 5 has the soft upper construction that fails to resist lateral movement before warranty expires. The Nike Ballistics 4.3 with the high stiff outsole that promotes ankle rolling, and Vapor 9 with shoddy construction and lack of durability. Enter the Yonex Power Cushion Pro. Out of box comfort and fit. No break in required. Cushion has faster rebound and shock absorption, unlike the shoes mentioned above. The return energy from the cushion gives the player more endurance. Lateral construction is superb. Minus the warranty, this shoe is a contender among the best out there.

Comments: Everything about this shoe is great. It is Yonex's best shoe so far, and I have worn all of the past generations. It is lightweight, comfortable and ready to go out of the box. The stability is fantastic and the sole works on clay and hard courts. After wearing the shoe a few times, it molds to your foot. The toe box is slightly wider than the previous versions, which is a good thing. I play 4-5 times a week on hard and clay courts and this shoe is a winner. I cannot find anything I don't like about this shoe. It looks great too. Highly recommended. Ordering from Tennis Warehouse is easy and the shoes arrived in 48 hours.

Has anybody in here also worn and tried the Nike Vapor 9 or Vapor 9.5 ? I know those are also very light shoes. I was wondering how the Cushioning on the vapors compare to Yonex SHT 308 or the new yonex shoe. Thank you

He is not sponsored by Yonex anymore. So it's his choice to wear the 308's. He may not have tried the new ones or just prefers to wear the 308's. plus they match his Athletic DNA outfit better.

I mean Hewitt is not sponsored by Yonex to wear their cloths. I don't think he has an endorsement to wear their shoes either. Which would explain him not having the newer ones.

so if the new power cushion pro is so good, why is he still wearing the old model ? just because he doesn't want to pay for the new model and use up the old stock in his closet ?? he has enough money. lol

Power cushion Lite is same price as power cushion pro. this is kind of strange if power cushion Lite is supposed to be inferior model to PCP by Yonex ?

Has anyone worn a Barricade 8-7, and could compare it with the 308, which would you like the most?
