I destroyed my last pair of 308 last month and it was time to go with the power cushion lite, it goes very well with my green Yonex polo shirt from last year.

I have been using t for 3 weeks now so here is what i find:

It is as comfortable as it could be, maybe Yonex trademark, I'm used to the 308, so I actually prefer the Light just because a little bit extra room in the forefoot area, stable and light as the 308, didn't notice much difference, except the extra space.

No break in needed, as always, it feel a little higher than 308.

Quality is second to none really, feels so good and looks nice.

Very satisfied with it, I will stick to it for the rest of the year now.

OK, when I said soon in last post, I meant reaaallly soon.

So I already have it, the toe box is in between the 308 and the durable(254D). The Arch support is about the same height but softer.

Just tried mine yesterday, the fit and comfort is very nice.
Quattro fit really works in it.
Stability a bit down compared to 308.
Mine is japanese version, it supplied with 2 different width insoles.
How about US version, is it the same or only one insole?

    Only one.

So you have an extra insole make it narrower? As I don't see how a insole can make it wider.

Yes, came with 2 sets of insoles.
Not the insole making it wider but the shoes, insoles only to fit the wider or narrower setup.
They call it tiotio, there's a strap in the mid foot, around arch.
So we can choose to use it or not, but the instruction was in japanese.
I'll show the photo if you want to see it later.

Thanks for the photo, I will take a look to see if I can do it on mine. But I only need wide toe box, mid foot width is not really a problem for me.

It looks to be the same but the 308 has some material that makes it look higher, essentially they are the same height. Though the PC Lite is is a smaller shoe than 308 yet with the same fit for the size, yes more space in the toe than 308's, I am loving these shoes, actually I love Yonex shoes just as much as their racquets, clothes.

Only one, to me is an awesome shoe, with a little more space in the forefoot, which i liked it itoo, I like the PC Lite more than 308 now.

PC Lite Weight: 13.9 ounces (size 10.5)
    254D Weight: 12.9 ounces (size 10.5)
    SHT-308 Weight: 13.9 ounces (size 10.5)
    PC-109 Weight: 12.0 ounces (size 10.5)

    I have the 254D and SHT-308EX

Both are excellent shoes in all departments, I'm sure the PC lite wont disappoint either

I like a shoe with a REALLY rigid sole. I'm looking at the 308's because I'm getting older and playing 6 days a week is getting harder on my joints. I see good things about the Yonex cushioning. Are the soles as stable?

Yonex makes the best shoes out there. They offer more cushioning than most others. Your joints will love you. I have been there (two knee replacements); and Yonex are the only shoes I can wear that don't make my knees hurt. The only down side of them is that they do not have the most durable outsoles. But I know this year they did come out with a more durable shoe. And it actually weighs less. Go figure LOL.

So far the 254D-Durable and the 308 show no wear signs,,I play with the 308 4-5 times a week.....254D a couple times a week.

I'm no longer a 308 guy, i'm a PC Lite guy now, these are my #1 shoes now, I just love them, this is coming from a guy that used 308's for 1.5 half.

I wonder how those durables are doing.

Anybody who used durable and PC Lite, which one is more roomy in the toe box area?

are you doing ok with less stability than you had with 308 ? in playing league matches or tournaments. Do you think this one has better cushioning than your 308's ? I have custom insoles and I have to take out the insole that comes with and replace it with mine. do you think I will have any issue with this ?

does the power cushion lite have the same length as the 254D?

I am really loving my 254Ds (my first yonex shoes) because most shoes are too tight or oddly angled in the toe box. I was surprised how roomy they actually are - I sized down .5 and still have a lot of room. I've heard the power cushion lite is a bit more snug in the toe box but not as snug as the 308. So if the length is the same, sounds like the lite would fit perfect.

any more experiences with this power cushion lite ? thinking about buying this one and trying it. always worn 308's and loved it. Any Plans from Yonex to re-release few more 308's before they are done.
I remember Yonex re-releasing some of the 307's after 308's came out before finally stopping productions of 307's before couple of years ago too. Hoping they would do the same thing..............

I ordered a pair and returned them. If you like the 308s you will probably like the power cushion lites. They just didn't fit me quite right - I really like my 254Ds and will stick with that line.

I like how each of their shoes are designed for a certain type of foot - and they seem to cover a pretty wide range with their line.

308s/pros are definitely a bit narrow compared to the others - very streamlined/glove like fit. PC Lite is similar but a bit more room up front and I believe a bit less arch. Its also somewhat adjustable in the midfoot with the different lacing options. the 254/durable is pretty roomy in the forefoot compared to most tennis shoes (IMO) - definitely the widest of the three.

That's my experience. Came across an older pair - 304s - also going to try those. Will report back. I've heard they're roomy like the 254s.

254D's are quite flex and gave me planar fasciitis from first run. I changed the insoles for more support. Also the inner arch support gave me blisters (Im flat footed). Otherwise super comfy, light, durable and good looking. Agree on the roomy toe area.

The arch support in particular felt weird to me. It was so pronounced unlike in any other shoes I have tried before I think.

YELLOW alert guys. This power cushion LITE which is supposed to be lighter than Power cushion Pro is NOT lighter. I took out the insoles they came in on and weigh them and they are about Same weight. actually Pro is like 0.1 oz lighter. I am not sure if this is cause the Pro comes with thicker insole ???

I wouldn't call them liars. I took out the Insoles they came with. NOt sure if the Thicker insole that Pro model comes with gives it heavier weight or not ?
