Yonex R27

    Since we're on the subject of the R22, I wonder if anyone has any pics or has any comments on the R27.

    I found it to be one of the most rigid frames I've played with and it offered tremendous power.

    Anybody else use the R27?

    fine racket and you are right it was stiff! Martina Nav. used it breifly one a french champion with it, then went to the R-22, Aaron Krickstein used it on an off kinda weird he would develop arm trouble with it from time to time and go to the pro staff he uses now in senior play. I remember at the 1991 U.S. Chanpionship Sampras gave him some of his rackets. Tim Wilkerson (Dr. Dirt) used the R-27 also. I tried it and the R-22 was much better.

    I can see why it gave arm problems.

    Such a strong/rigid racquet.

    If you could tame it it would give you all the power you could ever need.
