I just got a Yonex RDX-500 mid (together with a bunch of other racquets). For the ones who are using it/have recently used it; What strings and what tension are you using? Thanks.

    i hv 3 of them.

vs gut 17 mains at 56lbs and sppp 1.25 in crosses at 52lbs in 2 frames.
vs gut 17 mains at 56lbs and cyberflash 1.25 in crosses at 52lbs in 1 frames.

the gut/cyberflash hybrid is crisper and that's what i prefer.

    hope this helps.

I had one and had three different set ups
    1. big banger alu power at 55 lbs
    2. big banger original at 57 lbs
    3. x-1biphase/redcode at 53/51 lbs
I really liked 2, but 3 was the best imo. 1 gave me tennis elbow

I have two kinds of setups:

    Topspin Cyberflash 1,30 mm/Cyberblue 1,25 mm, 24/22,5 kg

and for clay SPPP 1,33 mm, 23/22 kg.

Both are quite soft setups for polys.
