    Snaab,

We have yet to hear anything from Yonex concerning this racquet. Will let you know if/when we do.

Any news, TW? One poster in the VCORE Tour thread in "Racquets" was thinking late May...

Late may is the time stated on the Yonex Japanese site.

That translates to "Mid-June" (most likely) for the US Market. :-/

I talked to our buyer and it looks like the Yonex VCORE Tour 89 and 97 should be available in mid May for pre-sale and in stock at the beginning of June.

As we near the hotly anticipated launch, any concrete "pre-order" and "available" dates?

    Xfactorer,

Good news! Look for pre-sale of these racquets in the next day or two!

    zumzool,

I will have to get back to you on that. Currently, there is not but will let you know if that changes.

    retlod,

The 330 g frame is currently the only version available to us. I will let you know if we are able to get the other version.

Oh so the 310 is kinda like the asian version... Darn it. No switching for me, waiting till they renew the 100S. 351 grams strung -_- + Leather Grip + OG + Vibration = 360-370.

You guys should really do a play test on the Vcore tours. The interest level on these sticks in the racquet section is immense.

Since you have played the Vcore 100S, I would really love to hear your comments on the 89 & 97.

    zumzool and syke,

Good news! We will be playtesting both the Yonex VCORE Tour 89 and 97. Look for the review in about a month.

Any idea when the 97 tour or 89 tour videos will be posted? And, if possible, can you let me know which of the two will be posted first?

Wow. How come you guys keep pushing back the expected dates for these reviews? You posted on 5/11 to look for them in about a month. Two weeks ago you said they would be up in two weeks.

    I'm anxiously awaiting these reviews.

Sorry for the delay. Unfortunately, things out of our control have pushed the racquets back but we are trying to get them out as soon as possible. Since the video has been pushed back, the written is already in the middle of the editing process so should be up right around the times of the video. And lastly, I just read my last post and we are actually filming this week and next week with the video being of the 89 being up next week and the 97 around a week after that.

Any hints about how the 89 got on Brittany? I am guessing it was right up the street of Chris, Mark and Granville.
