    Hey playtest team,

Have any of the ladies tested out the Yonex VCORE Tour 97 (310)? I tested it out as a more maneuverable alternative to the Donnay Pro one 97 16x19 and really liked it, and I'd be curious to hear if any of the female playtesters liked it as well. I'm a smaller framed 4.5 female player, and while the reviews from the guys are great, I'm sure they are much stronger/bigger than me. (Related question -- how do you all decide who reviews which racquets? I've noticed that a lot of the racquets I've looked at have been reviewed only by the guys, and I don't know if that means I'm looking at frames that really aren't appropriate for someone my size.)

    Thanks!

    TennisEsqNYC,

Yes, I've hit with that racquet a bit. I definitely enjoyed it as well and found it to be very maneuverable, and really enjoyed the access to spin for my flatter groundies. I think it was best for me at the net. I'm not always a big fan of the control-oriented frames, but enjoyed this one as I could whip through the ball with it.

I personally enjoy heavier racquets with higher swingweights and Carol (who is also is a smaller framed player) enjoys heavier racquets as well, so don't be turned away by who is on the review (there happen to be a few more male playtesters at times as well, but us ladies have a bunch of video reviews coming up shortly -- stay tuned)! ;)

As for how we pick who reviews each racquet -- there are a lot of factors that go into it -- but we try to get the people we think that will enjoy the racquet and who play with similar specs.

Hope that helps and if you have any other questions, don't hesitate to ask!

    Michelle, TW
