You get out of shape so fast....

    So today, i decided to go out and hit a few serves. Typically I am out there for about 2 hours and i end up ok.


    Today though was a different story. I barely got to an hour of serve practice before i was winded and ready to die...


    This is just hitting buckets of balls too..


    Why does the body get out of shape so fast? I haven't done any physical activity for about 2 weeks and I felt like death out there. It is so much faster getting out of shape then getting into shape....

    life is just mean and unfair like that :)

    it's telling you to get off that sofa/computer chair and get out on court more.

    Unfortunately it doesn't get an easier when you get older:)

    When I was a teenager or young 20's, I could easily take off two weeks and jump right back into sports. Now two weeks of inactivity means about 5-10 lbs that will take 2 weeks to work off.

    I think i have decided to take off from tennis for awhile.

    This will give me ample time to heal my shoulder.

    What i am going to do though when i take tennis off is work on my strength and conditioning so tennis practices are more efficient and i am not so tired that my strokes break down and then the practice tends to become useless...

    Yeah, i think i am starting to see various signs of aging overall...

    yep, that's the way our body is.

    You workout like 3 months to get your body big and in good shape, but sit back 1 or 2 week and it all goes away lol

    S*** has to be everyday man
