I have been searching for grommet strips for my discontinued Yonex. I found a place that carried Yonex grommets and emailed them. They do have replacement grommets but the price is........$49.95.

    Can you believe that crap?

Anyone know of a good source for discontinued grommets for a reasonable price?

There's a guy ("Disco Willy" or something) who sells bumper/grommet kits for certain models of discontinued raquets on eVay for around 30 bucks.

Edit: What's ridiculous is that many of his kits aren't really that hard to get elsewhere, for 10 bucks or less!

post it in the wanted section. call yonex because sometimes they have left stock and may send some for free. dunlop did that for me in the past. e-mail greg at the usrsa. They have an e-mail distribution and he may e-mail people with your info and what grommets you are looking for. one of those options will get you the grommets. no reason to pay more than 10 bucks for a piece of plastic

The store is Dennis ****** (replace D with T).

My racket is the Yonex MP2i. TW had them a couple months ago for $6.

Thanks for the tips jj300, I'll check with Yonex.

I honestly thought it was a typo at first, they must have meant $9.95 and typed the 4 by mistake. Nope, no mistake.

I figured that was who it was. As for grommets, I'd get the Fitex individual grommets if I were you. I do wish the Fitex grommets would just include the longer ones, as I have yet to find a frame that the short ones fit. They're a waste.
