If its going in I have a huge chance of winning the match. I play the serve and volley game thats all I need to say...

I would say my serve (pace and spin), with my topspin forehand coming in second. I get a lot of cheap points because of it. I notice when my back hurts and the pace is not there, I have to make more of an effort to use the rest of my game to win points. But, that goes without saying...

Sooo tough between my 1HBH and my slice. I can put both of them anywhere from anywhere on the court but I return better with the slice and I never miss.

Here's my lament: been working very hard on the backhand down the line, got that shot down pretty good and it seems that everybody I play is now looking for it. It rarely goes for a winner. I've also been working hard on the forehand down the line, but that's not as powerful as the forehand cross-court, either. So my question is this: Are you better off playing the "off shots" or just going at your opponent with the powerful, cross court shots? I guess it's kind of like in baseball, should a hiiter try to go to the opposite field, or just pull the ball where his power lies?
Is the element of surprise worth anything in tennis?

I can consistantly hit my forehand where I want to and can alter spin/pace, hit lobs with it, just one stroke altered can have lots of variety.

Backhand...I can hit heavy topspin, heavy slice, crazy spin that has my opponent swinging at air, down the line, crosscourt, sharp angle, drop volley, drive the ball, dropshot the ball, two handed backhand smash the ball, everything. There is not a shot I can't hit with my backhand.

Unfortunately as good as my backhand is, my forehand and serve are horrible which leaves me stuck at a 4.5 level.
