What's your favorite string? What do you use and why? Specifically which brand and type?

the only "other" type of string i can think of is kevlar...

anyway, i prefer synthetic gut...it's cheap, doenst lose tension, and has a nice mixture of softness and pop. im currently using gosen og micro 16..but my next reel will probably be 17g

I use the Gosen Sheep Micro 17 - I like it, it only last 6-10 hours. I buy it by the reel and it is super cheap.

During the summer I hybrid with gut. Usually BDE Preformance...

I actually like the feel of a multi better than gut now.

I despise practically every poly and co-poly and Lux I've ever tried either alone or as hybrids

My favorite string of all would have to be Timo 110. I know some people complain about it's harshness or it's low power, but I think it's just perfect; you just need to know how to hybrid it and string it right.

My favorites are all multis, but I play with poly for durability. Babolat Powergy and Klipper Zyex are my favorites. Yonex 850 and FXP are second.

My standard string is Cyberflash 17g.

I like full poly and they all feel great. However, this is the feedback from a long time full kevlar user. I like the stiffness and feedback from stiffer strings and never had any comfort issues with it. They also provide more control and bite on slices and volleys.

Hybrids, syn gut and multis gives me the feeling of having too much power.

My favorite is Topspin Cyber Flash 1.18mm with SPPP 17L a tight second.

how are your touch volleys and drop shots? a string with more feel like a syn gut would give you a bigger margin for error on those shots

I'd have to go with IsoSpeed Professional. I've used it off and on for about 5 years and after all is said and done, I end up going back to it. I like the durability and playability.
