Who do you like the look of at the moment? Safin at $8 looks nice, even though Fed has to be the easy favourite. I'm a bit surprsied with a few of the prices though, Grosjean's at $81, with guys like Gonzalez and Taylor Dent shorter priced than he is. Also, Nadal at $126 looks good, not to win, but he might be a good underdog in a 4th round match or so against a seed.

BTW, who is backing Montanes at $1501 after he flogging by JCF at this years? Certainly not me.

Schuettler and Srichaphan are good money picks! I think I'll wait until the tune-up events in Australia are played to make a selection though....

    I put my money on Canas, at 41/1. Year record. 40-22, 3 titles, MC alternate, record v. Federer 1-0 ( TMS Toronto 02, hard court). he's a scrapper & fighter...determined & focused...and good.

Who are you kidding? Ancic @ $101 is great (btw the prices are $A), and Rafa @ $126 is just as good if not better. But Flip @ $126? He may as well be $12600000000000 because he has no chance. He will probably have to get a wildcard to get in, and there is no chance of him doing a Goran, because he is unfit, unmotivated, and playing terribly. I wouldn't be at all surprised if he gets hammered first round. In fact, I'll be surprised if he wins a match. Or a point.

  7. KickServe, the accuracy of your assessment of Flipper's chances almost makes up for your avatars.

    Almost.

Yeah, it's the offseason, afternoon before Christmas break, and I have nothing better to do here at work.

"Ancic @ $101 is great (btw the prices are $A)," It doesn't matter whose currency it's in. It's the odds that matter. Bet in US dollars and for every buck invested you get back $101. BTW Goran was 250-1 the year he won Wimbledon. I wonder how much he made betting on himself?
