The courts at my university are pretty nice, we have three new and three old. The old ones have a couple cracks but nothing severe.

Great courts superior forehand and saschanator. I cant wait for summer to arrive so I can hit the outdoor courts.

Noelle, I can sympathize with you. I grew up on a cracked hard court which got so worn out that the surface actually became shiny like a mirror. Super fast surface

I hate courts with no dividers between them. There are so much, "ball please" distractions in those type of courts.

    Great strokes Saschanator!

Translation: Actually I can't tell anything about your stroke on a single static image where you look unbalanced on your follow through, but you are a cute blonde with a short skirt... :D

Hey Saschanator, you really should be following-through over your shoulder (for both the forehand and backhand).

You have to have an image or file hosting account somewhere else (like Photobucket.com). You then upload your pic there, copy the location, then come here and post it by pasting the location between these tags:

Those courts looks like a place where one would do public executions.

Doesn't look 'unsafe' to me but the lines could do with a fresh can of paint... Probably lots of bad bounces too. Hey, thanks for the 'exotic' post...

Those courts in Ohio look exotic too by NY standards (assuming they are public courts)

    hey david,

I played at central park this summer, so I know what you mean about having access to public courts there. man what a nightmare. There was this irritating guy who would check the underside of the shoes, and if you werent there 15 minutes early you'd get booted off. Good clay courts though

CP is a zoo really but the courts are in decent shape. You have the same bunch of old guys hanging there everyday though, threatening to throw a punch if they don't get their regular court and if you have a life, forget about playing there. The reservation system is useless so you have to be ready to waste 2 hours of your time waiting for a court...

I'm actually glad they check soles... You can't just go there with crosstrainers and expect to play on hardthrough, man...

Next time you come here in the summer, check out the Riverside clay courts. Those are public courts too, red clay, friendly crowd. They have a website...

^ i remember the shell surface, but that's not for courts everywhere, just in one province. the ones i played at were dirt though.

Those courts look a bit worn and frayed.
But the girl at the far left of the picture, standing on the baseline in the white shirt and pale yellow skirt (holding a Prince Thunderlight?) appears to have a nice, callipygian backside.

Damn those courts look so uneven. The bounce on the ball must be very unpredictble. I can probably get some really mean, high kick serves on that court. ;)

gmlasam, I am 5'9". When I met Courier, I thought the same thing..."Damn you are a lot taller than I thought. He was a real nice guy. Let me hold on and look at his racquets while he signed some autographs (He's lucky I didn't take off with them, LOL). Really funny guy, made time to speak with everyone, sign autographs, pictures, etc.

I also watched him hitting with some of the other pros...he was absolutley crushing the ball. His inside-out forehand is still amazing.

At the far end in my pic, you can see there are some shell courts. They're for members of the tennis club only though. The dirty, cracked hard courts are for public use (minimal fee).

She was actually using a Dunlop (looked like an M-Fil 200). The pic doesn't show this, but she looked about 14 years old. ;)

:( Yeah, you probably could bounce it right over me (or as the balls always do, bounce right into my face).

HAHAHAHAHAHA!!! Yeah, i'm in prison. We not only get cable..these days we get free internet access as well. Unlimited nights and weekends. =) They feed us well too. Those walls show how much money the US govt. puts into our schools. US govt. spends more money on prisons than our education...maybe i should quit school and go to prison...Our tennis courts aren't too bad, but its built right next to the softball field so dirt and crap gets on our courts when the wind blows. And to Vince, yeah, i'm on the Cleveland tennis team. I hear a bit about you from Ike. Wow, of all the diverse people from all over the world on this forum, there's a guy couple of miles away on it. Pretty gnarly.
