Thanks Bobby. I think the v8 would be my next shoe then. I stopped using the 1.3 and 2.3 for a long time already. Not to my liking, really.

Whot is Wrongs whith mine spellings mishaps? There is to be the problematics for the mechanics my pronunciations?

'Twas an intentional mistake my fellow Britisher. Soemthiymes I liek to spell intentionomaly badly for the sake of the internets. You can rest assured my spelling has won many prizes over the years.
Where did you order your V8s from? P r o d I r e ct? I think they've reduced the prices on the spring colours have they not?
So far I don't think I've heard of any glue issues, but it's still early days.

the shoe is light! great fit!...

If you expected a better fit and support from the V7 and were disappointed.. u will not be from the Vapor8...

the durability for the sole is the same as always for Vapor shoes (it will last, just not as long depending on ur style of play IF ur a slider on hard courts) ... the NEW uni tongue, lace system will make it feel waay better and more supportive than V7 although V6 felt way a lot stiffer... which was good for some and bad for others...

    overall is an awesome shoe...

Nike actually has poor quality for shoes.. Frankly, I have lots of Nike shoes, and almost ALL of them have the same problem like yours, no matter it is for basketball, indoor or outdoor soccer and even tennis esp vapor.. I recommend you Ballistec as right until now, I never have any problem with Ballistec,It has a good cushion and very durable.. :)

Durability isn't an issue for me. I only wear one pair of shoes until they wear out (the rest are in the storeroom!). My vapors have little wear signs and it has been out there for 20 hours

Well, could it also be because of your playing style? I know sometimes, shoes get damaged if you don't wear them for too long.. It happened to me once where I stopped playing tennis for 2 years, and when I started to play tennis for fun, my shoes got a big hole at the inside part.. but you said your hole is at the other side, so it should be either defect from Nike or your playing style where you like to drag your shoes or you like to slide while playing.. a lot of factors can affect the shoes so what I said are just some suggestion but doesn't limit to always happen for every shoes.. :)

I didn't say my shoes have holes....I said my shoes last very long. I'm not a slider

Sorry about the miscommunication.. I saw you posted that you experienced the hole on the other side before, so I thought your last post talking about "your vapors have little wear signs and they been out there for 20 hours" was still about the hole.. again, sorry for the miscommunication
