Iveta Benesova's Skirt

She won in Acapulco today. Seems like a cute gal (from Czech Republic), but I really wonder how her skirt (or whatever it was) stayed on during the match. Must be pretty strong spandex.

Anyway, you can see a lot more photos of her at:

http://sports.yahoo.com/ten/players/181/photos

It's a great result for her. It looks as though it was only her third WTA tournament.

Shaolin 03-07-2004 02:58 PM

Susan can you get me her phone #?

Wait, never mind! I always forget that on the WTA youre required to turn pro at 12 or 13.

Susan is your husband named Dan Seemiller? I watched a few minues of the Killerspin table tennis today (which was awesome, I could watch that stuff forever) and that was the name of one of the announcers. JW.

Looks like the skirt DIDN'T stay on...

sseemiller 03-07-2004 04:08 PM

I agree, Deuce. :lol:

Yep, Shaolin, that's my husband's name, but he's not that Dan Seemiller (unfortunately, as if he were, we'd be rich). :lol: But I kind of like the one I got. :wink:

Shaolin 03-07-2004 04:15 PM

Wild. How many Dan Seemillers can there be in the world? Then again, there are like 50 billion people with my name as well.

sseemiller 03-07-2004 04:31 PM

I think there are only two. :lol: We sometimes get calls looking for the other one. He was quite a successful table tennis player in his day. I believe he was the World No. 1 for quite a while -- in the 80's or so. I did look at a photo of hm once, though, and figured I still got the better deal. :mrgreen:

Susan, I've got two words for you, 'wardrobe malfunction'.

@wright 03-07-2004 06:25 PM

How much prize money and endorsement money could there be in table tennis? I'm sure more than I think in Asia.

@wright 03-07-2004 06:27 PM

By far the best picture of her from Susan's link is the pic where she's kissing the trophy and you can't see the rest of her face!

sseemiller 03-07-2004 07:09 PM

So you don't see the Paulina Porizkova resemblance? I bet if she had make-up on, you would. :wink:

sseemiller 03-07-2004 07:26 PM

Actually, I posted this photo on another board, and Fee had the best response to it:

"So that's what happened to my new black table placemats. It was so odd the way they just disappeared... "

@wright 03-07-2004 07:55 PM

Forgive me if this is a stupid question(it isn't my first and won't be my last), but Fee was saying that the girl was wearing her placemats for a skirt? You did mean placemats and not placements right? Or is that another name for placemats?

sseemiller 03-07-2004 08:09 PM

Good point. I knew what she meant, but I didn't notice the error. Anyway, I corrected it. :wink:

Ronaldo 03-08-2004 10:14 AM

Well at least she was not wearing a thong under that skirt. Then again, what would work with that skirt?

Hmmm...how would you know whether or not she was wearing a thong under there? :wink:
