Great 4th rd matchup: Joakim Johansson vs Michael Llodra

I hope they show at least some of this match on Tuesday. It'll be the battle of the tall (6'3") serve & volley Frenchman Llodra versus the even taller (6'6") ace-machine Swede Johansson (Note: This is Joakim and not the other talented Swede Thomas).

They've played once this year in Toronto, Canada on hard courts with Joakim winning 1-6, 7-6, 6-1.

At Indian Wells in 2003 I saw Llodra play doubles and was really impressed with his strong serve and soft hands at net. His game reminds me of Tim Henman's.

Have yet to see much of J.Johansson but have read all about his monster serve. Would love to see Joakim play the 6'10" Ivo Karlovic....but then again maybe this would just turn into an ace bore-fest.

Joachim will KRUSH Llodra.

Well it might be a good match to watch live but on TV I think it will stink because Llodra isn't a great returner, although he is fun to watch with his volleys and his backhand.

This one could be a lot of tiebreaks and 2 shot rallies.

The only time I've seen Pim-Pim was when he lost to Schuttler in the Halle website and in a little clip they showed on CBS on Sunday. It looked like he improved over that 3-month span or I just haven't seen enough of his game. That little clip that CBS showed was amazing though. Blasting a serve then shooting a flat forehand to an open corner.

Pim Pim all the way. Llodra has no chance the way Pim's been playing.

Based on what I've seen, if Joachim can put his game together come next Wimbledon he will be a major threat for the title.
