Pacific Life Open
I just found out that my spring break for next year coincides with the Pacific Life Open. I was wondering if anyone had visited the tournament and had feedback on the ticket prices, facilities and overall quality of the tournament. Is it possible to see big name players, and is it really crowded. If possible, could anyone tell me how it compares to the US Open becasue i have been to that every year now and am always very impressed. Thanks a lot

Hi Chris
There is a lot of information on this board about IW. Use the advanced search tool and look for 'Indian Wells' and 'Pacific Life Open' in this section only, then look in General Pro and then look in Pro match results last. There were a number of discussions that answered all of your questions and those same posters might not be able to duplicate their answers for you, so the search tool should give you some great info.

I've been to IW 4 times since 2003 and I strongly recommend it to any tennis fan. :)

Been there the past 4-years. Go the first week, lots of tennis. The outside courts are way better, stadium is too big. Watch the weather. It can get way TOO HOT, making it uncomfortable to watch tennis for all but the hardiest tennis fan. You can buy tickets on the day, which with the weather, can be a good idea. If it is too hot, buy for the evening session and there will still be a lot going on the outside courts when you get there. Book a hotel early, that can be a problem.
