~:[POG Club]:~ Open to all POG users
Yo, just wanted to start a club for IMO the best racket ever made. Here we can talk about anything POG (favorite string setups, etc.) If you want to join feel free to add your name to the list, etc. Just make sure you own a POG or just a big fan of it. We can figure out what to call ourselves later.

I dont currently play with it but i have os that i used up until last 1 month. Can I still be here?
To start: The racquet plays well for me with full set poly in it. Babolat PHTour at 57 lbs was really nice. Lots of spin, good feel, etc. However I strung it with Pacific Tough Gut and hated it ever since. However because the damn gut wont break and it is so expensive i am not cutting it out still. After my commitment to the nBlade I might switch back to the POG OS Because as far as I remember, this stick is pretty much the most forgiving one i ever wielded (is this a property of the sheer weight and 5 pts HL balance?) |
I play with the Mid on the side...Strung with Pro Supex Premier Ace at 58 lbs.
|
PS are you in bangkok or something?

I have a POG mid (4-stripe) I currently hit with once in a while. Strung with Luxilon Big Banger on the mains and Gosen Crosses.
Awesome stick! |
haha i just keep refreshing the rackets page...and coincidently i enjoy reading your posts!!!! GET OVER IT!!!! MAKE IT FLEXIER!!! lol just messin w/ ya man
|
noone wants to join besides Alafter? and yes u can be here Alafter. I've never played nat. gut but I don't think it is the POG's twin brother. From my experiences and others' opinions, it plays best with synthetic, full poly or poly/syn. hybrid. And no I don't live in Bangkok, but I am Thai. I'm going to Bangkok this summer.

my posts, knasty?
|
lol i was assuming i was going to be #2...lol since i hit with it...
|
i was actually talking about alafters posts but yours are perfectly fine too
|
Ill join. I play both MP and OS. Whatever the occasion calls for. Ive been trying others, including Yonex and O3 hybrid tour, but the POGs are still #1 weapon. I use full poly jobs, mostly SPPP and cyberflash, although Ive found K-boom to work great too. I have 3 of each size. Fills up a bag nicely.

rock, paper, scissors with Alafter. JK, since it is your main stick (am i right?) then you can be #001
