Why doesn't anybody use prince racquets?

I never see any juniors at tournaments with prince racquets and although I dont look at everyones racquets it just seems odd to me and I wonder about it. Is there something wrong with that type of racquet?

raiden031 07-11-2007 08:49 PM

Maybe because Federer, Nadal, Roddick don't use Prince racquets?

gbeast 07-11-2007 09:06 PM

That's a good point.

Voltron 07-11-2007 09:08 PM

I see a lot of them around me.

K-LEG 07-11-2007 10:06 PM

I see lots and lots of Head...

BreakPoint 07-12-2007 03:13 AM

Out of the dozens of Prince racquets I've tried over the years, the only one I could possibly play with is the POG, which came out 30 years ago. Perhaps many others feel the same way?

But Sharapova, Jankovic, and Davydenko do. ;)

Good question. I have no idea why. I used the old Triple Threat Warrior for a few months, but when two frames cracked during normal play, I chose to avoid Prince racquets and have yet to try a new one. They're also expensive as hell.

PushyPushster 07-12-2007 05:05 AM

Prince

Well, screw those guys. I do my pushing exclusively with the Prince Triple Threat Bandit. How's that for an endorsement?

$50 of mightiness.

fridrix 07-12-2007 08:12 AM

I seem to see more females using Prince.

Jlocke 07-12-2007 01:53 PM

From what I have seen and demoed lately, the racquets just don't feel good, and they are too light.

i guess it depends where you live cause i mostly see like Juniors using Head and Babolat around my area. My friend who lives in washington, dont know which city told me that he sees plenty of people using the Prince O3 white and ive only seen about 2 people so far using the o3 white.

Cindysphinx 07-12-2007 04:56 PM

I see the Prince O3 around here sometimes, but I don't understand what justifies the sicko price. For me, the Babolat was better.

Princerocks10 07-12-2007 04:56 PM

Prince racquets are better

Federer actually likes Prince more, but Wilson pays him more to use their racquets. I thought that Nadal already used Prince.:)

It Probably depends on who the juniors like the most. If they like Federer, they'll use Wilson, if they like Shararpova, They'll most likely use Prince.

Just Curious, how do you know that?

JMS 07-12-2007 05:11 PM

Oh yea, many top players in this area use prince, especially the O3 tour Mid

This is the reason...:)

Recent news said that the Bryan brothers are switching to Prince. At Wimbledon they used Wilson still.
