Babolat Star 5 :)
 

hi there,

i'm still stringing with an old but realiable babolat exclusive machine (soon some photos on photostringer!) But the time has come to buy a new one, and i think i felt in love with the STAR 5
But searching on babolat.com i couldn't find info on this machine. My question: is the babolat star 5 outsold or not (regio Europe)

'fraid the Star 5 is not being sold in Europe. We get stuck with the Sensor (which isn't a bad machine).

To date, it seems the Star 5 is only available in fareast and US.

Not sure if it's available in Australia or South America or not.

But, no. It wasn't. Not compared to the Star5.

Anyone who can give me advice for getting it to Belgium (Europe)??? I saw on photostringer that JANNEMAN ( member of TW) has bought a star 5. And he is from the Netherlands (neighbours of belgium) ... so maybe he knows more!!!!

I saw one in a carrying case on photostringer too. This will help you get it to where you are going. Just know that shipping is going to be a bear.

I also heard a rumour that they maybe available via the supplier in the Republic of Ireland (EIRE), but that hasn't been confirmed. And also they're part of Europe so the chances are slim.

Janneman's was sent that photo of the Star5. I seriously doubt the Star5 will be in Europe, at least not at that price point.

Why won't they let everyone enjoy their product?

Actually the Babolat Star V is available in Europe... or at least Babolats Distributor in Poland sells it here...

Don't get me wrong. The TF7000 is a fine machine. Better than most. Just not better than the Star 5. I have only strung with the Neos 1000, not the newer Prince machines.
