Cardio workouts...
Help me complete the below statement...

I should not do cardio workouts after __ PM...

You can do it whenever you want. Although whenever I do cardio towards the end of my day I find it a bit harder to fall asleep. I enjoy doing my HIIT in the mornings as it starts my day off right.

Kay, alright...

Then, I have another ?, does the "No static-stretching rule before physical activity" rule apply only to tennis, or to all other sports and working out?

All other sports. I know because I lived it in basketball - could not jump nearly as high after deep stretching...

Also agree on the cardio - many times it awakens you and if you do it too late, then you won't be able to sleep. I usually can fall asleep after consuming a gallon of iced tea - so that doesn't really pose a problem for me.

You want to be careful with cardio though. You might want to get some protein shakes for afterwards or you could detrimentally affect your muscle growth. (or even use up muscle tissue for energy)

Why do you beleive such a statement? I myself used to do cardio at night with no problems in terms of injuries.I feel thats because your more 'warmed up as it were from the day to day activities than say if you started first off the bat in the morning. Though as other have metioned that its their cup of tea so to speak. As for being tired after a days work it depends on the level of work i.e manual work one does, and the type of cardio in relation to that. However i feel that it gives one a good nights sleep when its done at night.

So in the end its horses for courses and if you feel(lazy) that you don't want to do it than say it and be done with it, rather than giving it to us to make an exuse for you for not feel like doing cardio at night. :)
