Blister

And also, any suggestions for the calluses which have formed below my pinky and ring fingers (visible in the picture above)?
|
Also, I am in the middle of tryouts for varsity this week and next week, so I kind of need a quick fix (for tomorrow) but then I have a full weekend to rest it (although I do want to serve a bit).

Any blister on my hand, I use this type of foot cream that makes it slippery with no friction. Well it is not really a foot cream, but it like a lip balm type of applicator. It is packages like a small deodorant for the hand. I just put some over every changeover of a match. Or else every time it wears away. But it does work.

I have one on my index finger that tore, and then the skin underneath got too dry and cracked and bled...hurts like a mother. I went to a "tennis party" last saturday and played doubles with no breaks for 5 hours. I had 4 blisters total, but the worst one popped. I have no answers, just sharing your pain. :)

Put some talcum powder on it when your playing, so it doesn't get as sweaty, cause if it does it begins to sting, works for me anyway...

Use your opponent's tears as a lubricant.
Works for me. |
Any ideas on how I can avoid the calluses from forming?

I got one just today and it popped while hitting. I'm thinking of just putting a band-aid and then wrapping some tape around my hand so it doesn't keep rubbing.
I just put some neusporen on to help it heal for tonight. |

Before a match in high school I rubbed Orajel on my blister (after it popped), it numbed the pain for about 30 minutes or so, then it wore off. I had to keep applying more throughout the match, but it helped. :-? |
omgpantzorz I have a blister in the EXACT SAME SPOT!
we're like blister brothers! dont play for a few days, let it patch itself up, you'll be good to go. |
