Conditioning suggestions

well i'm a 14 year old tennis player.
And one of my goals (out of many) is to become in really good shape before I start my freshman year.
Any tips on how I can condition myself into bringing up the physical part of my game?
It's really good compared to alot of other juniors in 14 and under but i've got to be ready for the 16's.
Can be anything, just give me some good tips.
thanks, appreciate it.

are you doing push ups or crunches yet? that would probably be a good place to start. doing sprints would help too.

what is the weakest part of your game as far as physically? fatigue, weak muscles, slow?

Rope jumping is great for conditioning. Cycling or some other aerobic workout is a also good idea. Balance this out with interval training -- can be done with sprinting, bike, or rope jumping. For more ideas on conditioning for tennis check out the USTA player development site and other links in the (sticky) post below:

All of the above... and swimming laps and/or cycling distances as well as tons of playing tennis.
