how to mount tapered beam racquets on 6-pt?

I have strung a few times on my new 6-pt mount machine, and everything has been great. Now I have my first tapered beam frame to string, a Head FXP Instinct (23/25/21 beam), and I am puzzled at how to get this one to work with the side mounts. The 3 and 9 parts of the head are wider than the head/throat, so the side mounts won't fit underneath the frame without raising up the throat and/or head of the racquet. How is this typically handled?

that is fine, just make sure that al the supports are sufficently tight

ps: what machine?

I have the racquet mounted now, and the throat is mounted touching the base. with all the side mounts adjusted, the head is a few mm above the base. so you are saying it is just fine for me to string like this? I just want to make sure before i start.

by the way, it is a mutual power 7600. I couldnt be happier with it so far.

The head and throat areas don't need to be on the base of the tower. It's more important to have the racquet on the bottom surface of the side mounts.

How is teh 7600 now that the clamps work? Are they working well?

everything has been excellent so far. the crank works very smoothly, and the clamps are very easy to use.
