Barricade V Beijing Special edition

I don't get how this model relates to Beijing or the Olympics. Stars and stripes/Shanghai models I get. Maybe I am missing something from this one view? Actually looks rather plain as far as colorways.

the insides are red and yellow
with a diagram of somesort on the sole

SempreSami 07-16-2008 06:39 AM

The Olympic kit they've done is black and white, so it goes with that.

that is just the new color way of Barricade 5's , isnt it? i just got those from my guaruntee from adidas. the inside is white not red and yellow.

As ugly as the other special editions were maybe they decided to do some less tacky. The other versions looked less designed for a tennis court and more for a hiphop video.

Here's adidas' 'MAde for Beijing' line.

Looks white and black is the colorway of the the entire line.

Going by the pic above, it's a very clean and stylish Barricade, and likely the best version Adidas will ever do.
Forget Beijing - they should market it as "The Barricade Classic"

not a fan of this colorway

too plain 4 me

the only barricade v's i like in colorways are the black/lime green and the new navy ones

Extra rice with the special Chinky version? Are the insides shaved (jiao jie special)? Total BS. Bu hau la!

No, because that's rubbish.

They should've colored them in cloudy dull gray colors, that would accurately represent the pollution in the area.

This colorway makes no sense. It's almost identical to the black and white barricade V they just came out with. You have to look very close to tell them apart.

they dont hav those lines on the sides. they almost look like b4s

personally i think they look better than the other black/white colorway

Indeed, quite strange that.

HAHA... cry more losers if that makes your look/feel better. adidas sure doesnt know what the name 'Made for Beijing' means for their sales number, and thats why they made the entire line

another thing is that these dont show up on their website

I never would have guessed that companies would make sailing-specific shoes...

Who knew you needed special shoes for archery? Don't they just stand in one place?

I prefer the Olympic version available here:
