Stringing up a C10
I got a set of Kirchbaum SS Spikeys today and was wondering if this string would work well in a C10 pro
|
Oh yea, that would definately work. SS Spiky works great in anything :)
|
It'll work fine. I'd recommend mid-50s to start, unless your regular tension is a lot more or less.

Flexy racquets like the C10 should take to polyesters pretty well. It wont feel too crisp, but will definately be stiffer than a softer syn gut/multi. Any string will work, really; it just depends on what you prefer. I think the *worst* thing you could put in a C10 would be something super soft (Sensation? More Feel?) You wouldn't feel a thing....

Thanks for your imput guys, I strung it up tonight. Will have to wait a few days before I get to try it out. I have to say that after stringing Babolat Ballistic in my Tour 10 mid, putting in the SS spikey was pretty easy.

I just tried Sensation this week, I'll start a new thread about it...
