Closeup pics of Djokovic's new Head racket

Hi all,

Enjoy!

I held one of his unstrung rackets yesterday. Once again, surprisingly it's not too heavy. About the same as my Liquidmetal Radical Tour with 20g of lead tape.

However, I observed that it was quite head heavy.

Speed Pro huh?

Looks like he's still using the gut/Lux hybrid for his strings.

jcstennis 01-11-2009 04:28 AM

his bag (from what we can see) looks cool! Speed Pro bag?

awesome looking, my taste exactly!

djoko4thewin 01-11-2009 04:34 AM

wow that is nice! so is the pj of the speed pro very new? or did i miss that when he played at brisbane. plus what strings were in them? hard to say, maybe the gut/lux hybrid. the pics seem to me to show different hybrids in the photos, look like 2 strings but one full lux, one gut/lux and one lux/gut. maybe hes deciding on the right setup.

Hmm...who's the lady in the background? Djokovic's hitting partner? :p looks like she's also holding a Head, but I don't think it's the same one as Djokovic's.

The beam looks huge at the upper hoop and the grip shape is different .....he is in trouble with this tweener-looking racquet :)

master_stringer_mitchy 01-11-2009 05:04 AM

looks like he is using head calf leather with 2 over grips as well

dr325i 01-11-2009 05:12 AM

It is mainly TW equipment fetishes who use 13 oz +, 10 pt headlight frames - not ATP pros. Check out Jura's list in this forum.

Shes holding the same racket as Djokovic.
I'm not sure who she is..

crazylevity 01-11-2009 05:35 AM

^^ I don't think so. The word HEAD on her racquet slants at an angle, whereas the one on Djokovic's is straight.

viktorkwan 01-11-2009 05:42 AM

She's some European player...dunno what's her name...but she's got a BIG tattoo on her left mid-to-lower back...

Djokovic was on the side of the court waiting for her to finish her hitting session.

And no she wasn't using a similar racket...
