Superfly MonoShafts (pix from secret stash)

I made a beautiful post about monoshafts and was sadly censored for a creative title....so I'll try again

whoever censored me has no respect for Isaac Haves, Curtis Mayfield, Richard Roundtree, the Black Civil Rights movement in the sixties, or the film "Shaft" which embodies an era where beauty and American freedom were pioneered. Instead of changing a humorous title you deleted touching photos and communication from penpals around the world....now I feel like the old Podunk redneck in Casino, telling DeNiro where he's really at...
could you re-open our old thread and just change the title please...???

HEAD had a few mono shaft racquets in the 70's using the same construction as the Ashe Competitions. Unfortunately this is not my racquet. I got the photo off the bay.

It's the old Intersport logo. Just compare it with the new one:

plasma 02-20-2009 11:17 PM

I was told Gomez used this one. As a kid I remember him carrying a stack of 22's, he was as big as a fridge, even then, but a nice guy...
