Dear TW, I would like to ask you if you know if it is possible to remove the lead tapes from this racquet? Thanks

Don't really understand your question, isent lead "tape" always removable?

I think he's assuming that, because the SE weighs more than the standard Becker 11, there must be lead on it. Maris, if you are asking that question, no the "lead" is not removable; it is weight added in the racquet----and you should just get the standard Becker 11 MP.

Yes, the lead tape applied to the racquet is certainly removable if so desired.

Thanks for info. Do you think that the balance after removing the lead tape will be the same as in BB 11 standard (coming from 327 to 310 mm)? I hope it is even after more head-heavy (at least 315 mm)

The SE is not just a Becker 11 MP with lead tape added - there is more DNX in the layup, according to the Becker website. As a result, there are no published specs of the SE frame without the lead tape - at least none that I have been able to find.

You can remove all or a portion of the leadtape visible on the SE at the 3/9 locations.

You'll simply have to see what the resulting specs will be when you purchase a SE 11.

The handles are also different. I have not looked under the bumper guard of the SE but there may be more lead - not uncommon on racquets customized for pros.

Chris, TW.
