Serena T-Shirt

Anyone see the T-Shirt Serena was wearing during her ESPN interview? Are You Looking At My Titles

tennisnj 07-04-2009 05:39 PM

Yes. My future father-in-law who is new to tennis was watching the interview earlier & said: "I'm surprised Wimbledon officials allow things like that even in the interview room especially since they're so anal retentive about anything resembling an advertisement."

Should read the back of her booty shorts.

Cross Court 07-04-2009 06:15 PM

I noticed that. I can't believe they let her wear that, I mean, Sharapova or Ivanovic can get away with it but not her.

I seriously hate her.

Great shirt. No wonder tennis fans are considered pu**ies when something like this irritates them. Get a life.

It's not that I think it's inappropriate, it's that I think it's arrogant that only a horrible woman would wear that and get away with it. Tennis players don't do ****ty things like that, and she's making a horrible example.

Players are allowed to wear their sponsors stuff, logos/band names have a size to meet to be allowed on court, but i think thats the same everywhere.I laughed when i saw this last night.
I spoke to her yesterday just inside the centre court corridor they walk down to get from the dressing room, she was polite, seems nicer in person than many give her credit for.

Huh? Get out of here if all you got is hate man. You first sentence doesn't even make sense. It is arrogant that only a horrible woman would wear that?

She shoulda wore the 'Are you looking at my ASSETS' sweatpants.

brinkeguthrie 07-05-2009 12:22 PM

I'm not a fan of hers- her constant bad-mouthing of opponents/excuses after a match is well documented.

You can't dispute the record, tho- hers is outstanding, one of the best womens records ever.

But it's inappropriate wear for post-match at Wimbledon. Period.

featherlight 07-05-2009 10:43 PM

the shirt is a little arrogant but still pretty cool

I think she can get away with it as she has more TITles.

SaunderS 07-06-2009 04:42 AM

As serena said in an interview. She's an animal on court but nice off court.

Roberto 07-06-2009 04:57 AM

Serena has great titles.

heartman 07-06-2009 05:05 AM

Chump change

Way to go on the Wimbledon title. But the rest of her? Chump change...that's all she has...that's all she brings to the table. Wish she had a bit more substance - it would back up her on-court performance.

coloskier 07-06-2009 10:12 AM

Maybe she can get sponsored by Alpa Chino. :) Bustanut energy bars and BootySweat energy drink.
