Haas using Head?

What is with Tommy Haas using a Head racket? He has always used Dunlop. How much did Head pay him to switch?

660 is oversize, isnt it 630?

Haas played with Head when he was younger, before Dunlop payed him to switch.

He switched back to Head at the US Clay Court championships, while still sponsored by Dunlop. About half way through RG, he made the switch to Head official. There's a thread detailing this somewhere on this site.

His racquet is a pro only mold (probably PT57E or PT57A) which is painted to represent the Microgel Prestige MP.

Wasn't aware that Head made oversize PTs besides the Radical molds. You're right about that one.

Actually 660 is not oversize. It's approximately 102 in. Haas is using a PT57A.

vsbabolat 08-13-2009 09:24 AM

The Pro Tour 690 was the oversize version.

Inappropriate comment: It would be funny if this thread were entitled "Haas giving Head?"

Hehe.

Just kidding. I like Haas.
