Lendl's backhand

Did Lendl choke up on the backhand grip? That's what I recall but I can't find any video to confirm.

Continental or Eastern grip?

TM Prestige Classic 11-12-2009 07:42 AM

looks to me like he's choking up 1"

thanks for the pic. I am holding my gtx-pro right now. It looks to me like he's choking up just a little, maybe 1".

Agree?

Lendl used a grip fairly close to a continental, and he was choked up SLIGHTLY on all his strokes!

For his backhand, I'd say Continental when slicing, full Eastern BH (extreme Western, flipped over) for topspin.

UGH. NO! Read my post. It was just off continental. Why do people say these things, when they know nothing about it? Just like to guess? Muddy the water? Confuse others? Weird.

Overreact much?
