I think he'd win a golden match against you

cucio 11-26-2009 02:54 PM

^^I don't think he'd deign enter a court with him, for starters.

Verdasco is top 8, facing guys all ranked higher than him, and taking sets from every of them. He lived up to his seeding. In fact he was not that far from winning his match against #1 Fed in straights.

Yes. I would estimate a few hundred thousand people have seen him win matches over the course of his career, possibly more.

Ambivalent 11-26-2009 03:47 PM

The fact that he took a set off Murray resulting in Murray's elimination alone satisfies me.

malakas 11-26-2009 03:49 PM

Ohhh jeez.I totally read the title:
Verdasco the fiat.

Audi vs Fiat. No wonder Murray won.

ChuDat 11-28-2009 04:58 PM

Nope he's never won a match and yet he made it to this years Australian Open Semi-Finals

MuseFan 11-28-2009 05:30 PM

It's a shame that he couldn't win just 1 title this year.

yeah I was expecting him to after his performance at the AO. Hopefully he'll get some titles next year

bjk 11-29-2009 05:53 AM

He won New Haven.

ttbrowne 11-29-2009 11:20 AM

Here's a guy who played better than he ever played before, ranked in the top 10 in the world, played in tennis's world championships...and the poster calls him "fiasco".

Do you have THAT high of a standard??

President 11-29-2009 12:00 PM

He is mentally very weak. Lots of talent, sort of like Soderling. But Robin seems to have a much stronger head on his shoulders than Fernando does atm (never thought I would say that about Robin Soderling of all people). He's going to have to see a psychologist or something during the offseason. He has the game to beat the top players..just not the mind.

matchmaker 11-29-2009 12:06 PM

Verdasco is not as bad as the OP makes him out to be, but he does seem to have a mental problem on the big points. Basically he gives a lot of his matches away by imploding all by himself when it gets tight.

I'll repost the answer I gave you in your thread about clay courts and why they are so popular in Spain.......

You are either an immature young teen or an ignorant person.....or both

I think Nadal is the fiasco ,but i doesn't rhyme as good.
I think Nadal is done, and it's not up to him anymore. Many guys have the better qualities than he does and more potential to be better, such as Del Potro,Tsonga,Gulbis,Soderling.Big room to improvement, while Nadal can't run any faster.

Your analysis and your avatar just don't jive well with me.
