Which tennis shoes would you recommend for me next?

My past two shoes have first been the Nike Air Zoom Vapor V and then the Adidas CC Genius II. I tried buying the Ballistic 3.3 but the size 12 was to big and the size 11.5 was to little. So then I physically went to a tennis store and tried on the Babolat Propulse 3 and they felt amazing. As I played on the court though the right shoe was rubbing against my ankle and heel pretty bad probably because they are a little higher than most shoes.

So what shoes would you recommend for me next? I tried the new Vapors and they felt great but I am 6'1", 158 lbs, so naturally my foot is really skinny and long. I know the Vapors are more width wide so I didn't know if they would really be for me. I have a underpronated/high arch foot and usually love a light shoe, I really hate heavy ones.

If anyone here runs, I have the Nike Pegasus 27 and I love the way they fit.

Any help with this information would be very helpful!

Thanks!

Perhaps try the Adizero's? You might be one of the few who can wear them. I believe the fit is similar to the Genius's.

You could try getting some taller socks to stop the rubbing with the Propulses. I had to do that on the first pair I got, but after a while, the little part sticking up in the back will fold over a bit and give you a little more flexibility and not rub as much.

SirGrounder, I tried those on when I got my Babolats and they did not really feel very comfortable so I didn't give them much of an option.

Maroon, did you have that problem on just one shoe? I used to wear long socks but started wearing shorter socks just recently. It just doesn't seem like that part in the back is going to get better anytime soon....
