Wow $169 for a reel, that will be like $230 here. NO DEAL. Sticking with my trusworthy dealers.

Sold my CF reel for $90 and i used like 6 sets of it (still have 3). Made some money there.

$12 a set is not too bad if it delivers what it promises.
wow, being made in England, production cost must be pretty high.

Anybody know what other polys are made in England? I doubt they'd start up a whole factory in England just to sell a few dozen reels.

Gamma Black Ice is made in England and I would guess most of Gamma's solid polys and made there. Also the L-tec strings are made there.

From what I was told, even the (or most of the) "made in England" ones aren't technically made there, just marketed from there. I seem to remember asking the GG Tennis people about this on their forum, but maybe I posted somewhere here about it.

You could very well be right about that.

Manufacturing in England wouldn't be that expensive because it must all come out of a highly automated machine.

Could be designed elsewhere, by the usual German suspects who probably sold them the machine in the first place.

But this does sound expensive, so what part could be made in England to justify the label - the EU is fussy about labels.

- British flag also on l-tec string packaging
