I know we got some wrestling fans on here. Wrestlemania looks like it's going to be pretty damn good this year. Rock/Cena is the big main event, with Y2J/Punk, Sheamus/Bryan, and HHH/Taker as the other possible big matches.

So who you got in Rock vs Cena? I'll just ask one more question...

After Taker coming back last night, I gotta get tickets now lol, that sealed the deal, even if I get bad seats, I need to be there :) For Cena/Rock, I have no clue. The Rock needs to win though, another super-Cena WM win would be lame.

I try to keep up and watch it, but I bowl on Mondays nights so I dont get to see Raw. I never watch SmackDown or the PPVs.

Thats cool that Taker came back, although Im kinda bummed a little that its HHH. I know it was getting set up that way. And with Takers limited schedule now it makes sense to work with someone theyare familar with. Should be a good match.

I guess Y2J will full on Heel by Mania. If not it will be an excellent match with no plot.

Same goes for Bryan, It seems like he is developing a kinda Hell persona, and Shaemus is really gaining in popularity.

When the Rock/Cena match was made I would have thought for sure that Rock wouldnt have signed on if he was gonna lose to Cena. But Cena is also transforming his character, and may use Mania to make the full on Heel turn. At the least he needs to appear vulnerable. Getting beat on for 20 minutes then ripping off te win in 30 seconds is getting old. The Rock wont let himself lose like that.

Agree a ton with your last sentence. Cenw turning FULL heel at WM would be absolutely epic and the only way that I wouldn't mind him winning that match. Or he can lose and then snap. Agree about being bummed that it's HHH again, the only 2x in a row opponent should have been Shawn. I was hoping for Jericho/Taker at WM. Love that Sheamus won the RR though. Can't stand Daniel Bryan.

D. Bryan always seemed liek someone who had tremoundous in ring abilty but no mic skills. He makes all the moves look good and makes all the matches entertaing. Hes like CM punk with no charisma. Or thats what I thought. I dont watch Smack Down so I dont know how is heel turn is working out, but it seems plemty of people are giving him props for beign as good as he is on the mic.

What really sucks is that Truth got suspended right when he and the Miz were taking off. Truth is hilarious, and that heel turn a few months ago was classic.

Penn State was NCAA champions last year (Iowa the 3 previous years) and just beat Iowa on Jan. 22, but I still look for Iowa to win the championship this year.

truth and Miz are stale now that Truth came back. Sad really as I really didnt like the Miz before the two of them got together and now that they broke them up I dont like him again. Miz just isnt good enough to stand by himself but as part of a team he works.

Daniel Bryan is a very good technical wrestler but he reminds me of Dean Melonko. One of the best in ring performers that just falls flat on the mic. Says alot about the guys ability though that he went this far on in ring ability alone because he hasnt cut a good promo in a long time. His mini heel turn is kinda good but at the same time its just confirming what Cole has been saying all along and kinda gonna end up burying the guy as a little whiner.

MichaelNadal 01-31-2012 11:13 AM

Glad to see people like Truth as much as I do, the guy is damn FANTASTIC. And can wrestle his *** off in that ring too. I wish he would have stayed heel too though, he was one of the most original heels in such a LONG time. He's still one of my favorites though.

Dean Malenko had zero personality and was like 5 foot 5. Bryan is like 5 foot 8 and has a smidge of personlity. But they are kinda similar I will agree.

I always thought had potential, but he never had any chance ever to really shine. Im not sure what happened to let him do the heel turn. Some will say once HHH became more involved he let some of these guys take some chances. Hopefully R Truth doesnt get buried. He works good matches and is entertaing. Could make the US/IC belt matter.

Also,

Whats your guys' thoughts on Orton. I always here the older guys say he is the future. But to me he comes short on mic/personality much liek D. Bryan.

If Orton would have been around in the late 90's he wouldnt have been much. They gotta change him up somehow, but Im not sure hes got the ability to play a different character. The only thing goin for him is the RKO, but he doesnt apply that move half as good as DDP did.

I know alot of peopel like Orton, but he the guy I get the least out of all the big names. I dont liek Cena, but can see why he is such a draw. With Orton I dont understand it.

Orton's better as a heel than as a face. His stuff w/ HHH-the McMahons in the buildup to WM 25 was legendary stuff, probably the closest WWE's come to the Attitude Era the past few years. On that alone I'd say he'd be a great heel even during the 90s.

As a face he's much weaker, but he's still a good 2nd/3rd fiddle behind Cena and any face that gets hot (right now it's Punk, in the future it could be Sheamus). He's not a top top guy, but he's still one of the most recognizable guys in the company and has grown into the face role well.

I like him, but I know a lot of people flat out hate him now. Some even more than Cena. Orton's the opposite of Cena in that he does whatever he wants, breaks the rules, is a bad ***, etc. So for that alone a lot of people like him.

hollywood9826 02-01-2012 09:02 AM

I think thats what alot poeple think about Orton.

Flair and Hunter tried very hard to make Orton the man. He got every chance you can have. He has all the talent to be on the level with the greats of all time, but it just dont work for me for some reason.

If they want to give him the RKO, at least let him use it like DDP and pull it off from every different position imaginable instead of just jumping into the guys backwars and letting him do all the work.

DDP would hit that from the top and 2nd ropes out of firemens carrys and every toher position imaginable. The RKO is just getting stale to me.

I'm surprised he's done so well as a face so quickly. I thought he'd be a good face but not this good and this over with the crowd. He's just a big likeable guy who kicks ***.

Another guy who I think will be great once he turns face is the Miz. My bold prediction is that Miz will be the face of the company once Cena's time is up.

Ronaldo 02-01-2012 10:40 AM

Was in a grocery store where the Miz was appearing. Told the store owner that this was the 1st time his entire parking lot was full.
