Best shoes for calf strains

I'm prone to calf injuries, typically "tennis leg" medial gastroc strains.
Sometimes the left but usally the right side.

Currently I'm using the K-Swiss Ultrascendor (system 7.0). Got them
because they were comfortable off the bat, although I find that they are
not making me feel that nimble on the court. I suspect that the lateral
support could be better, meaning that my calf and upper leg will move
before the shoe and foot now respond. THe lag may be leading to more injuries.

In any event, I'm wondering if there is a shoe that is recommended for avoiding calf strains? Or if not, one that is known for it's nimbility and responsiveness?

Thanks!

I've suffered "Tennis Leg" recently and still recovering from it. I'd pay attention to Rafael Nadal's comeback and what he'd be wearing as he'd probably look for footwear that provides best support for recovering player.

I've been wearing the NB 851 for about a year now and they're very light and pretty comfortable once you get used to the fit and feel. They're soft and cushioned on the heel, but not very much on the forefoot. I would say they're one of the most nimble feeling shoes I've worn.
