It looks like he's gesturing that the ball was out. He did it throughout that match on close calls. Notice how he extends the arm before the point is over at the 12th second of this clip.

I demand the result of the match be nullified and a replay scheduled immediately with a new umpire in the chair!

His job was done anyway. He can do whatever once he says "game, set and match". It is not that he was found unfair in any of his rulings.

If he was not showing that the ball was out, then I guess the guy simply wanted some attention, knowing that the whole thing was going to be all over youtube.

Before the match Chris Fowler said something about the umpire not being able to officiate the finals that Nadal played in since they're both Spanish. Is this true? I never knew that they took nationality into account
