need pc help
Yesterday I turned on my computer and was greeted by a "Windows failed to start. A recent hardware or software change might be the cause". I download the Windows installation disc on a usb and hope it fixes the problem which it doesn't, I get a "Windows failed to load, because the kernal debugger dll is missing or corrupt". From there I've been stuck, I've looked around and still nothing useful. Does anyone know how to fix this problem? any help will be appreciated
My computer is a HP Mini 110-3700 running on Windows 7 |
Can you do a system restore to when it was working properly?
(Maybe not if you can't get Windows to load at all.) If it is a laptop, unplug, remove the battery, wait a minute, reinstall the battery and reboot. If you are able to exit when the error message appears, try rebooting in safe mode. If all else fails, you can reinstall 7. http://www.microsoftstore.com/store/...usbdvd_dwnTool Would also try googling the error message and going through the various related threads until you stumble on to a fix that works. Maybe HP tech support? |
nothing seemed to have done the trick. I'll have to look around, right now the main problem is the kernal debugger error
