Two-handed racquet.

No thanks.
It does look like a diving rod or a garden implement.

You know....a girl in Augusta had a similiar raquet but the handles were turned the other way. She let me hit with hit but it felt funny to me. I don't see it taking off.

He's a really nice guy, though, and very good player.

I wonder what would happen if you started from scratch with the thing?

As noted in the article, Brian went from a >800 ranked player to <100 after the switch.

A sample of one isn't 'data', however. :)

I never tire of this, though, and Chris Wettengel is a very good player indeed...

Someone's playing a bad joke on him.

Timbo's hopeless slice 09-18-2012 05:01 PM

Just a bit of an update, Brian won the Colorado State Open at the weekend, beating Taylor Dent in the S/F on the way.

He also made the final of the dubs, but lost (beat poor old Taylor on the way to that one too!)

So, who still thinks it's all a bad joke?

I seem to recall a short lived racquet from the late 80's-early 90's that had an ergonomic handle angled 30-40 degrees to one side. Can't find any photos on the web though.

I can't remember that, but I remember those bizarre Snauwert things from the 80s, they were all over the place, and then they were gone...

It's a joke, but not a bad joke, because ONE guy can make it work.
Now YOU try it, and tell us what you think.
