Breaking sneakers in....What exactly are you referring to?
I just started using my brand new pair of Barricade 6.0's. There is no need to break them in, with regards to a stiff vamp or upper (like you would a dress shoe). However, my arches start to burn even when just walking in them, b/c the arch support is very high for my flat arches. Is this what you mean by breaking them in? Again, upper leather is quite soft and pliable and is not an issue, it's the inner sole that is killing my feet. Is this par for the course?

Umm.... I think its just getting the insole "molded" to your foot. Not literally like orthotics.

Yes, par for the course. Break-in varies by user. Compressing the arch can be part of that. Some people need to soften up the sole or upper. Should be all good in 4-8hours.

By the way, I don't think there's any leather on B6s.
