Multi main tension coming from poly mains?

Been playing poly/syn gut at 48-52 on the poly and 54 on the cross. Trying to leave poly for comfort issues. I strung a couple full syn gut at 50 and they actually feel fine too. So if i like 48/54 poly/syn and 50 full bed of syn gut where should I start with a multi main/syn gut cross tension? (I love forten as a cross and don't want to spend $15 per string job on full multi).

I'm thinking 56/54?

By the way, the multis I have are NRG2 17, Multifeel 16, and PPA 17. Going for comfort and controllable power.

I'm not sure what type of machine you will be using, but I would not start below 56 with a multifilament due to their higher power level.

None of those are rocket launcher strings, so I would try 55/55 actually. If that's too much power, bump it up a few lbs. However, mikeler is God of Multi, so I will defer to his experience. :)

Let's say 55.5 to be safe. PVAudio is no string slouch himself.

Klippermate special. So 56 with 54 forten cross is probably fine for starters?

Without knowing anymore info about your game, I'd say yes.
