no. 1 ranking
does anybody tell me when federer will fall to no. 2 at the earliest
looks like he will be first person to be no. 1 for more than 300 weeks, either male or female thanks in advance |
he is #2 right now.

If federer reches QF at shanghai, no matter if djokovic wins, he will secure 300 weeks at no.1, staying in that position until october 22nd.

off topic but wondering if Djokovic will play in Basel this year

- a qualifier or Zhang Ze (a young Chinese player without a lot of experience on the ATP tour) - Wawrinka (most likely) That of course assuming Djokovic wins Beijing and then Shanghai which is not an easy task, even for him. |

Fed's draw looks pretty cake till the semis next week, unless he got overly spooked by the death threat, he should be through to the semis.

I don't think Doha points will be counted. Since it hasn't been specified that the Olympics counts as a 500 tournament quota. We will have to wait until Monday and see, of course I hope he'll get 300 weeks. :)
